#SocialChallenge Day 29: What do people misunderstand most about you?

What do people misunderstand most about you?

tarabuck_big_spiritsPeople most of the time judge me right from the start because I have a “big presence”. I am a very confident person, I have many talents, and I’m a born leader.  So most of the time my confidence is misunderstood because sometimes I don’t feel very confident at all.  But people will judge me based on what they lack and honestly they are missing out because I’m a really good friend to have. 🙂

#SocialChallenge Day 28: Love Language

Love Language

tarabuck_touchWell I have many things that make up my love language.

I love to cuddle.  Just laying on the couch snuggled up with my baby.  His arms around me and me just sunk into his side.

I love to kiss.  Slow, small, and soft kisses while wrapped in his arms.

Of course I love to hold hands.  I believe holding hands or at least touching each other keep you both constantly focused on each other!!!

#SocialChallenge Day 27: Favorite part of your body

Favorite part of your body

My favorite part of my body would be my eyes because they tell it all. tarabuck_eyeWhen I’m hurt and upset they are deep forest green and red all around it.  Then when I’m happy and when I smile people always say that they can see my smile in my eyes. They are also the tools that I see to do everything in life.

#SocialChallenge Day 26: What notion does the world have wrong?

What notion does the world have wrong?

Money can’t buy love…

As much as we would like to say that,  “I have seen people who get together because of the money that one of them makes” and finally they fall in love…  I don’t know but to me money bought that love! 🙂

#SocialChallenge Day 25: Dinner with History

Dinner with History

Susan B. Anthony:
The 19th century women’s movement’s most powerful organizer. Together with Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony fought for women’s right to vote. She was also very involved in the fight against slavery and the temperance campaign to limit the use of alcohol. (

tarabuck_susanbanthonyquoteWhat an amazing woman Susan was! She knew what to stand up for and she did.  I’m so thankful to God he placed a woman like this to help fight for our rights as women, but also to help fight to free people just as he intended when he sent his son to die on the cross to set up free of our sins. If I could sit down with her over dinner I would ask her to share her story with me and then I would sit there like a child soaking in every word she said.  I would seek her courage and bravery.  I would ask her what and how could I apply this in today’s world and what would she fight for now.  Battles are started every day but being able to pick and chose which battles to fight is already half of the battle!!

#SocialChallenge Day 24: Family Dynamics

Family Dynamics

I had a good childhood compared to other’s that is for sure.  I had a loving father who has always taken care of me and has always made sure we had everything we needed.  My step mom whom I call MOM 🙂 because that is exactly what she has been to me since the moment she walked into our lives at the age of 3 1/2.  My mom and I always spent the weekends together, her son was usually off with friends, and my dad was either fishing, hunting, or resting.  My dad also decided that we as a family would build a house which we ended up never living in but that was how we spent most summers.  The other part of the summers I was in Louisiana with my mean step grandmother from HELL!!  My mom always cooked dinner for us and she always made sure the house was kept clean and decorated nicely.  We would meet at families houses for the holidays and every Christmas my mom and dad hosted the Christmas Eve party.  Which I looked forward to every year because it was the one time that we had ALL of our family under one roof.  I went to church as a child starting at the age of 6.  My parents aren’t church goer’s but I do know that they love God so, when I was just six years old I would wait out each Sunday morning for the local Baptist church to stop and pick me up.  My home was always filled with love unless we were in trouble lol.

Today our family is a little different in a few ways because we always make sure that we support and attend our kids events and things like that.  Where as my parents never attended anything except one school dance program.  We don’t really have family that comes to our house to much and honestly we don’t really go to other families houses to much either.  We do for Thanksgiving or 4th of July we will go up to my Aunt Mary’s cabin in Arkansas and we really enjoy ourselves there.  Both of my parents have always worked outside of the home and most of the time my husband is the one who works outside of our home.  We pretty much go to church as a family even though at times my husband really doesn’t care whether we go or not but I know he loves God.  My kids only have one set of living grandparents and PRAISE God they are not grandparents from HELL to them.  My parents are actually fantastic grandparents to our kids and I couldn’t have prayed for better ones. My husband’s mom past away 3 years before we got together so I never had a chance to meet her.  My husband, my daughter that still at home, and I spend pretty much every day and every hour together that we can and we love it that way. We are more than happy to spend our weekends with just us but we do enjoy our time when we do have company.

#SocialChallenge Day 23: 5 Top Hobbies

Top 5 Hobbies & why I love them…

  1. Heaven Bound Women’s Ministry.  This is a ministry that has been in the works since 2007 when God called me to the Ministry.  My focus is women and helping them feel better, look at them selves better, and to help them to experience their way of having a deep relationship with Christ.  I love this because it’s more than a hobby it’s my passion & it’s God’s calling on my life.
  2. Bri Lynn Photography.  I have always loved capturing life’s moments and this has become a great way for me to enjoy my hobby.  I’ve never taken photography lessons or classes but I do a lot of my own research, and I have my own technique of doing things.  So far, I’ve been blessed with clients who love my style and my way of doing photo shoots.  I love making people smile and this is just one way I’m able to do that.
  3. Plexus.  Plexus started out to be just a way for me to get control of my weight, my health, and my inner self.  However, I soon realized how great I feel on the product and I want to share it with everyone.  This goes hand and hand with what I’m passionate about! Making Women feel great & look great!!  To see my clients reach their milestones is a feeling that can’t be explained!!
  4. Writing.  I have always loved to write.  As far back as I can remember I would always have a journal and I would write in there but I’m not sure where all those went from when I was a kid.  I have a few now that I wrote a while back and then I stopped for a very long time and I’m really not sure why, but I have started back up and I’m loving it!  I am also in the process of writing a daily devotion book that I hope and pray to get it published one day and then I want to also write a book.  I love writing because it’s away that I can express my feelings and thoughts without having to express them to someone in person.  Sometimes there are just things you need to say to get them off your chest and this has been a great way to do that.  Keeping a journal is also a way to help you heal and to remember things that you might suppress or forget.  I actually am keeping three types of journals.  One is just your regular every day journal and I type that here on my computer.  Then my second one really is also my third one as well and it’s a journal of prayers as well as my dreams I have at night.  Sometimes God talks to us through dreams and so if we have a dream we might not understand it so if you write it down you can come back over it and piece it together.
  5. Entertaining/Planning/Organizing. I absolutely love entertaining, planning, and organizing parties or events.  Again, it’s all about making people smile and have a great time.  I am actually very good at all of this and it should probably be another “JOB” of mine and who knows maybe it will be. I am also very good at helping people organize their homes and I actually have done that for about 10 years.  So, if you need help planning and organizing an event look me up.  🙂

#SocialChallenge Day 22: 5 years? 10 years? 15 Years?

The Future

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 10 years? 15 Years?

WOW!! I always have hated this question at interviews ha-ha.  It’s because I honestly hate to think that far ahead! I know sounds crazy but I just want to soak up the moment I’m in and be the best at what it is that I’m doing this year, you know what I mean.

However, for the challenge I will try my very best to answer it the best I can.  I want so much out of life that I haven’t gotten yet!  I want to be completely happy with everything and everyone in my life, I want to be one of the top ranked people with Plexus because I truly believe with all my heart that if I’m at the top then with this company I’ve helped many to achieve their healthy goals, I would love to be traveling all over the world speaking at women’s events and sharing the gospel with them all, and I would absolutely love to have the best wedding I’ve never had.

#SocialChallenge Day 21: Superpower

This is a great question! If you could have one superpower, what would it be and what would you do with it first?

tarabuck_superpowerI would want the complete power of healing.  I hate to see people hurting from illnesses or people that are born unhealthy.  I’m not saying I would want to be Jesus, however I would love to have the gift of healing just the same.  If I had it, I would go and heal all the kids who are fighting cancer or life threatening illnesses and then I would work my way up to the adults who are suffering from the same.

If you had a superpower, what would it be? What would you do first?
